Watercolor Painting: From the Inside Out
Intermediate & Advanced
“What makes you who you are?”
This workshop will consist of a series of unusual painting
problems posed by the instructor to take advantage of each
participant’s unique personal experiences, and will
act as catalysts and starting points for subject matter. The
focus will be on the enhancing of unique personal expression
and creativity via water soluble media, while still permitting
each participant to follow his/her individual method
of working. Multiple solutions to the problems may
spawn a series of related paintings.
This workshop will not focus on techniques; rather it will
be about generating unique ideas, and then turning these
ideas into interesting watercolor paintings.
Bruce Bobick has affiliations with many watercolor societies
and has been received numerous awards including the
2010 National Watercolor Society Purchase Award with Silver
Star, as well as awards from Watercolor USA, Georgia Watercolor
Society, Watercolor Society of Alabama & Pittsburgh Watercolor
Society.
