This “idea-generating” workshop moves you beyond your current comfort zone. Acrylic’s wide range of possibilities, uses and techniques offers the artist maximum freedom to create in any style. Inspired from Nancy’s new book, Acrylic Innovation, this workshop offers exposure to a broad spectrum of styles ranging from classical realism through minimal color field, and everything in between. Participants are encouraged to broaden their current painting styles and techniques, by creating at least one finished painting in a new direction by the end of the workshop. Personalized instruction enables all levels to attend, however, previous painting experience is recommended for this instructor’s fast paced teaching style and wide range of techniques covered. Nancy currently lives in Santa Fe, has a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design, and MFA from Columbia. She has been painting, exhibiting and teaching for over 30 years. Her first book, Acrylic Revolution, remains a best-seller and classic.
