Get ready for a week of wonderful (almost uninterrupted) painting time. Maybe you would like some support for pieces you are currently working on or maybe you are on the verge of a new direction. Mark will be there for you, to expertly guide and inspire you along the way. Amidst time to paint and explore, there will be guided discussions regarding: content versus subject, finding your visual voice, developing your visual language, playing and experimentation, the business/marketing and selling of Art, enhancing your studio practice and finding time to paint. There will be allotted time for individual critiques. This will be a mutual sharing, low key, fun environment to paint and grow.

Mark is a signature member of the NWS, AWS; DF, TWSA, Watercolor West, and RMWS, among others. He has won many major awards, including the AWS Silver Medal of Honor, top awards from TWSA, and the Shanghai Zhujiajiao Watercolor Biennial Award. His work has appeared in many publications; most recently in The Best of Watercolor, Splash 5-The Glory of Color, Splash 10-Passionate Brush Strokes, and Splash 11. Mark is the author of Creative Watercolor Workshop by North Light and has created 12 instructional videos. HIs paintings are included in public, private and permanent collections, including Blue Cross Blue Shield and The Arches Paper Co., USA.
“I have two wishes…one is to live a few more hundred years, for I shall never have enough time to paint all the ideas in my head. Probably won't see that wish granted. The second wish? That somewhere along my journey I will communicate with fellow travelers who will see something of what I see and feel something of what I feel…”
Still wondering if this is for you? Just email Mark at mm@mehaffeygallery.com with questions or concerns. A suggested supply list can also be provided.
