MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN
Pastel and Watermedia
In this fun and informative workshop, you will learn how to greatly enhance the expressiveness in your paintings by exploring the interactive qualities of wet and dry media. By combining the fluid characteristics and transparencies of watermedia, with the color intensity, and opacity of pastel, you’ll create absolutely eye-catching results. Whether your preference is traditional, impressionistic, expressionistic or contemporary modern, these media fit together like a hand in glove. You will learn centuries-old techniques as well as modern and explorative approaches. Demonstrations, and helpful individual and group critiques, are all designed to foster the thrill and joy of exploring, learning, and creating beautiful pastel paintings
